The premium, SAFE CLEAN TREND ribbed carpet, tactile guidance entrance matting system for the visually impaired was developed to integrate safety systems in public buildings. Designed for shallow recessed or surface-mounted use, the white safety strips sharply contrast the brush profiles. In the event of sudden light failure, special pigments in the safety strips collect luminous energy and provide a constant source of light; making it easier to locate entrances, exits and escape doors. The entrance mat system remains visible even in complete darkness! Suitable for a range of heavy-duty commercial applications, ribbed carpet is a durable, moisture-absorbing material that helps prevent slips and trips in internal building entrances (zone 3). With the combination of cassette brush profiles which act as an orientation aid, this system addresses several human senses to provide additional safety in entrance areas.
